Best Western Dover Marina Hotel achieves Green Award Thursday 15th September 2011

Best Western Dover Marina Hotel achieves Green AwardThe new Best Western Dover Marina Hotel & Spa has achieved a Silver Grading at their first inspection by the Green Tourism Business Scheme.

‘This is a great achievement for the staff at the hotel who have conscientiously worked hard on implementing our strong environmental policy that has been adopted by the hotel’ said Mr Anoob Saban, General Manager.

Silver Business Tourism AwardTo achieve a grading from Green Tourism Business Scheme an organisation must have a strong environmental policy together with procedures and a plan in place to minimise energy consumption. Part of this plan includes buying locally wherever possible.

In line with the Leaf Hotel Policy of protecting the environment in which we live and work, The Best Western Dover Marina Hotel & Spa now joins the other 2 Leaf hotels, the Ramada Hotel Dover and the Holiday Inn Express Canterbury in achieving a Silver Grading from the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
