Independent Conference Venue in Kent gains MIA Accredited in Meetings Status Thursday 17th December 2009
East Malling Conference Centre, located near Maidstone, Kent, is proud to announce their recently achieved Accredited in Meeting Status (AIM), as awarded by the Meetings Industry Association (MIA) & fully endorsed by VisitBritain.
AIM helps meeting & conference venues achieve a set standard for venue facilities & service delivery. Based on measurable criteria such as customer service, compliance with codes of conduct, legislation & corporate social responsibility. Conference & meeting buyers know they can trust an AIM accredited venue to perform way above the rest.

East Malling Conference Centre is located on the outskirts of Maidstone, Kent, just off junction 4, M20. The conference centre is situated on the site of East Malling Research, who is world renowned in the development of soft fruit growing & storage techniques & provides a beautiful backdrop to the conference centre of over 200 hectares of fruit orchards.
The conference centre is modern, light & airy in design with 5 meeting rooms seating from 2-200 delegates. All rooms are air conditioned, pillar free & have natural daylight. There is extensive parking for over 200 cars which is also suitable for coach parties.
Catering is provided by on site chef, Werner Neuman on a daily basis using only the freshest produce available, much of which is sourced from local producers. With an in house chef we are able to offer conference clients a variety of lunch & refreshment options which can be tailored to meet the needs of your delegates.
As part of the East Malling Conference Centres commitment to future developments, brand new state of the art AV equipment is being installed in to the main auditorium, boasting a 4 x 3 metre electronically operated screen & a 3700 lumen projector. All AV equipment is linked to a 16 switch control panel enabling presenters to easily control their own AV needs during meetings, conferences or training events.
