The Commonwork Centre is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty in 500 acres of Kentish Low Weald. An old Manor House with its ancient walled garden, and a group of historic barns within an attractive courtyard, have been restored to provide a peaceful, but stimulating learning environment.

New in 2011, a historic farm building has been sustainably converted to a spacious, light, low-carbon eco-centre with meeting and conference rooms, exhibition space, AV equipment, dining room and courtyard. The new eco-centre is fully wheelchair accessible throughout meeting latest DDA requirements.

There are 500 acres of Kentish low Weald with field trail, woodlands, ponds; extensive organic gardens; walks, arts, crafts, cooking activities by arrangement; puppet theatre; resource centre of journals and books; baby grand piano for visitors’ use.
