The Bell Hotel has been welcoming guests to stay and dine in Sandwich, Kent since Tudor times. A bell Inn has existed on The Quay, adjacent to the Barbican Gate and Toll, overlooking what would have been the harbour, now the River Stour, since about 1300. The present listed building is mainly 19th century.
The Hotel with it’s thirty-four ensuite bedrooms accommodates up to 65 guests, Georgian Regency room catering for up to 100 guests or conferences up to 150 and The Old Dining Room for smaller meetings. The Restaurant & Bar are open for Lunch and Dinner, with menus that vary with seasonal availability. There is limited car parking to the front of the hotel and a pay and display car park on the quay, adjacent to the hotel.
